Position Overview
Position Overview Family Planning Council, a large, well-regarded not-for-profit human services agency in downtown Philadelphia, is seeking a temporary, part-time Program Associate for its Men’s HIV Prevention Initiative in our Circle of Care Department. The successful candidate will have strong written and verbal communications, be proficient in Microsoft Office, have strong organizational skills and have the ability to work with a diverse population and in high-risk areas. Primary job responsibilities include:
  • Co-facilitate educational HIV prevention curriculum.
  • Follow up with identified community organizations and schedule education sessions.
  • Assist in the coordination of HIV testing events.
  • Assist in the development of Men’s HIV information directory.
  • Represent Circle of Care at health fairs and other community events.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Health Education, Social Sciences or related field preferred.
  • Minimum two years of college with a combination of one year work experience with community based or social service programs.
  • Experience in the HIV field preferred
