Nurse Practitioner Program
The Planned Parenthood Federation of America, Inc. (PPFA) Nurse Practitioner Program is housed at the Family Planning Council.
It started in 1972 with the mission of educating registered nurses to become OB/GYN Nurse Practitioners and providing continuing education for advance practice clinicians who work in reproductive health.
Today, in addition to nurse practitioner education, the program offers continuing education opportunities to nurse practitioners, nurse-midwives, physicians and physician assistants.
